A celebration of the birth of the hula. A full day filled with Hawaiian and local craft booths, 'ono food, and the official Moloka'i Ka Hula Piko t-shirt. Entertainment by various music groups and Hula Halau. Admission is free!

The museum is closed to the public on Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2, 2026 in preparation for the 2026 Mod Gala museum fundraiser. The museum will not have a First Friday event for May.
